And Emptiness does not differ from Form.
Form is Emptiness and Emptiness is Form.”

The empty space shown by the  circle.

Field of awareness or qi field that surrounds our body.

Referred to as  “qi chong”  or qi field

The full space shown by the square. the physical space our bodies occupy.  The empty space shown  by the circle the minds field of awareness or “qi chong” that surrounds the body.

We use this to help describe the idea, from form emptiness arises,  emptiness defines form..

Stillness within movement, movement within stillness refers to this.

(太极), 它是既有科学性,又有哲理性,这两个有机结合,利用拳理,拳法。所以我认为呢,就是说你没有这个太极的这个,对太极这两字的这个认识,你不会练好太极。太极是什么?是无极,无极生有极,有极生两仪,两仪生四象,四象生八卦,但是这有极是什么,就是分虚实了,分内外了。但是无极是什么?无极是那个圆圈圈,就是一个空的。现在我们在科学来讲,凡是事物,不管什么事物,都有物体,都有场。这个场我们认为就是无极。事物呢,这个本身就是有极,所以我们太极拳来讲的话呢,我们用无极来影响了有极,有极再反映到无极。这个来回的转换,这样的话,我们认为这是太极拳的一个特别要紧。阴阳虚实,它是一个问题的两个方面,它是一个阴阳互根的,而且谁也离不开谁的东西。

(推手1)你看你来。搭手以后我们俩人是个无极,它是阴阳。假如他有力,他是阳我是阴。他们本身又分阴阳系统。破坏他的阴阳虚实。
(推手2)阳面,这走的是里面,我用里面撑我的阳面,这是一种打法。用里面,这就象FU阴BAO阳,就好像你自行车的外胎很硬。是里面撑着。
(推手3)还一种,假如我给他拿起来以后,我是用里面走,我用外面拿他。
(推手4)你看他进来以后,我这是阴的。我变成阳得了。
(推手5)现在我在搭手以后呢,我这是阳的,我变成阴的了。你表面上都是这么一放,但是阴阳有变化。
(推手6)他的变化怎么变化,他来摸我。摸我以后我认为怎么办呢?我认为我是圆圈。我用这个圆圈打他。嘿。用圆圈打他。
(推手7)还可以怎么办呢,还可以这样,我是。这个叫什么呢?这个叫求圆,叫站中,我用站中打他。求圆站中。我用中心放射打他。
(推手8)我还可以用什么样的方法打呢?这叫曲中求直。这是曲的,求直了。
(推手9)我可以用膝盖打他。膝盖打的是拿这个膝盖往回拉。这样也可以打他。
(推手10)我用胯也可以打他。用胯打他是这样打他,是支撑力。胯是支撑力这样打他。
(推手11)我可以用丹田打他,你摸着我肚子。这样也可以打他。我用丹田打他。
(推手12)我可以用腰来打他,腰怎么打他呢?我不是用腰打他,我是用肩背往腰上松,这样打他。
(推手13)可以用肩打他,肩怎么打呢,肩打是肩颈到涌泉,我的肩膀往回一背。肩劲打他。
(推手14)我可以用手指头一个手指头轻轻打他。这样是什么是。要。你看啊?挨着以后我就拿他脚跟了。拔脚跟。

这个咱们说明什么问题,就说你的阴阳虚实的变化。有层次。有层次、有角度。有层次,有角度是多方面的。我练架子也是这样,以为我要提这个手,我这么提这么做就很简单,有人在这,这就走了。我认为不是这样,起的时候我先有一个场势。我跟着场势走的。落的时候呢,是我身体把场势带回来,好像这东西回来。到这儿以后,我又有了场势了。我在场势着走。完了以后呢,我用身法在场势里面走。回来以后呢,这时候你看它又是一个。身体形状又出了一个场势,这打起来是场势,好像推一个场势走。

(推手15)一条腿不但要支撑我,还要发东西来,你扶着我这条腿。我这一条腿不但要支撑我,还发出劲来。他做了两种功能,假如你扶着我以后,这条腿支撑我了。支撑我了,但只是支撑我。我用这条腿只是发力也不行,既能支撑既能发力。什么道理呢?就是一个收缩跟膨胀,也是一个阴阳一虚实。

“(Tai Chi), it is both scientific and philosophical. These two are combined together, using boxing principles and boxing methods. So I think it means that if you don’t have the knowledge of Tai Chi and the understanding of the word Tai Chi, you won’t be able to practice Tai Chi very well. What is Tai Chi?

It is Wuji(infinity), Wuji generates Youji(extremes), Youji generates two characteristics, two characteristics generate four images, and four images generate eight trigrams.

But what is Youji? It is divided into virtual and real, or  internal and external parts. But what is Wuji? Wuji is a circle, it is just an empty space. Now, in terms of science, any object, no matter what, it has both object and field parts.

We think this field is Wuji. The object itself is Youji. When we talk about Taijiquan, we use Wuji to influence Youji, the Youji reflects itself back to Wuji.

This back-and-forth transition, in this case, we think that the transition is a particularly important aspect of Tai Chi. Yin and Yang, Xu and Shi {deficiency and reality} are two aspects of the same object.  Yin and Yang are rooted in each other, and they depend on each other.”
